Quality Assurance Specialist, 76design (Toronto or Ottawa)
Thornley Fallis and 76design are looking for a talented QA Specialist to join our team and help make our agency even greater.
Candidates should be prepared to work in collaboration with developers, graphic designers, marketers and public relations experts towards maintaining a high level of quality for all projects, and continually improving processes.
Here is an overview of the experience, qualifications and abilities we are looking for.
Required:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Experience writing and executing test plans
- Experience writing comprehensive defect reports
- Experience using and managing defect tracking software
- Strong knowledge of web standards and best practices including, but not limited to, validation, accessibility, usability, security, performance
- Functional knowledge of browsing platforms (e.g. Mobile, tablet, cross-browser)
- Experience with server configuration and website deployment
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Ability to understand and work with people in a creative environment
Bonus Points:
- Experience with content management, and architecture
- Development knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, WordPress
- Experience with user training
- Knowledge of Google Analytics (set up & reporting)
- Self-motivated and excellent problem solver
- Self-manageable with an ability to multi-task
